Viene affrontato il tema dell’uso della tecnologia nell’animazione musicale della liturgia, sviluppando l’argomento nel contesto più ampio dellascelta dei generi e degli strumenti musicali nella celebrazione. In tal senso,ripercorrendo sinteticamente la storia della musica liturgica e le indicazionidella riforma liturgica, emerge che le difficoltà legate all’animazione musicaledella liturgia non risiedono semplicemente nella tipologia di strumenti, più omeno profani adoperati, quanto nella percezione che della musica si ha nelcontesto dei linguaggi rituali. Pertanto, anche la tecnologia può trovar postonella celebrazione, a condizione che sia in armonia con essa e ne rispecchi identità e natura.

This article deals with the issue concerning the use of technology withinthe musical animation of liturgy. The topic is developed in a wider contextrelated to the choice of genders and musical instruments during celebration.So, after resuming shortly the history of liturgical music and the instructions ofthe liturgical reform, it is possible to note that difficulties linked to the musicalanimation of liturgy do not lie simply in the typology of instruments, less ormore profane that are used, but rather in the perception of the music that onehas in the context of ritual languages. Therefore technology too is allowedto get a place in the celebration, provided that it should be in harmony andreflecting identity and nature of the celebration.
