The anastatic reprint of an «Handbook» published at Nagasaki in 1605 represent an eloquent sign of attention to the Japanese culture in the celebrations of sacraments and in the pastoral praxis. The comparison with the text prepared by the editor offers an invitation to know also this witness that the history proposes to our attention today.
