Angelo della visione. La fotografia nell‘Evangeliario ambrosiano

Nel dover dare ragione al fatto che per la prima volta un Evangeliario contiene fotografia, l’autore ha ripercorso i punti salienti dell’esperienza di artista che lo hanno reso possibile. Il primo paragrafo è dedicato alla nuova dimensione aperta dall’obbiettivo di Galileo e quindi dal deserto come luogo del moderno. Nel paragrafo Arte si delinea la specificità antropologica dell’uomo e nel paragrafo dedicato all’Angelo, in che modo l’immagine dell’obbiettivo ha rivelato l’invisibile. In Paesaggio e Berlino, la rivelazione del cuore come dimora dell’immagine. Nei paragrafi Luce e Fotografia, l’analogia profonda tra l’ascesi in Cristo e la modalità propria del fare fotografia. In Evangeliario, la categoria dell’istante come tempo della misericordia.

Owing to give reason to the matter of fact that for the first time an Evangeliary contains some photos, I have thought back over the most important moments of my artistic experience, that made this event possible. The first paragraph is dedicated to the new dimension that was open by Galileo’s lens, and afterwards by the desert as place of the modern. In the Art paragraph the anthropological specificity of man is outlined and in the Angel paragraph it is described how the image of the lens has revealed the invisible. In Landscape and Berlin the heart’s revelation resides in the image. In the paragraphs Light and Photography is shown the deep analogy between Christ’s ascetism and the way itself of making photography. In the Evangeliary paragraph I have tried to show the instant category as time of mercy.
