Description
Summary
This note offers a brief presentation of the Italian edition of Hilary of Poitier’s De Trinitate, edited by A. Orazzo. The Author reviews the life and work of Hilary, the content of the De Trinitate (in particular his passionate apology for the full divinity of the Son against the Arians) while it also refers the reader to the catechesis of Benedict XVI concerning Hilary. The Author concludes by calling for a greater awareness of the Christology of the first centuries given the current doctrinal confusion of many theologians.
